Played Guitar Hero DS Today

Yeah, Toys R Us had some special event today.

Anyways, the controls were solid, it was pretty fun, but it might take a little bit of getting used to. All in all, it's a real nice game and I'm definetly going to get that DS Bundle now! :D
Any questions just ask me, I played a song by some blink band (haha) and it was on Hard (I know lame!).

How do the difficulty settings work? since theres only 4 fret buttons how did hard play? Faster than Medium? Or do they use ABXY or D-pad for an extra button?

There was no extra button, you only used the frets and strummed the guitar when you needed to hit a note.
The difficutly settings are the same standard 4 options, Easy, Medium, hard, and Expert. Hard was actually pretty easy, lolz. I didn't try Medium though. The four fret buttons seemed pretty natural, except when switching from the green+yellow frets to the red+blue frets, the transition was a bit nerving, especially when trying to string a combo.
The star-power was alright, worked the same as the game, except you tapped the star power meter on the touch screen to activate it. Better than moving the DS up, otherwise it would be activating all the time and then if you don't need it, your pretty much screwed on wasting it. So all-in-all, I really liked the star-power in the game! :D
For the whammy bar, you just move it up and down on the guitar on the touch screen to make the added effect on-to those long stretch notes! :D
