The MGS4 Spoiler Thread

I thought it would be a good idea to make a spoiler thread for this, mainly for the people that are trying to find out everything themselves.

Ok, to begin, did anybody find the scene where Snake is going to commit suicide overly detailed and disturbing? It was animated so realistically and it really appeared as if it was actually real. That was one of the few moments in a videogame that made me scared for a character, considering that we've seen Snake in so many situations near death, then he goes to kill himself? Im happy Big Boss came and stopped him, or that would have been one of the saddest moments in gaming history.

And I think Kojima left the series wide open for a sequel, because has anyone noticed that Johnny (Guy who Meryl Marries) looks alot like Snake? That would be very Kojima to leave another Big Boss clone.

Snake dies, Raiden turns gay, Otacon is evil, Ocelot was just a pawn sent by a massive unknown evil organisation that only gets revealed in the last 5 minutes of the game, and Meryl gets preggers with Big Boss' kid. The end.

Why does Snake try to kill himself....and how does it end?

He trys to kill himself to get rid of the contagious FOXDIE in his body (which kills EVA and later Big Boss) and to get rid of his genes. It ends by Snake putting his gun in his mouth and pulling the trigger, but he fires a blank. Big Boss comes and explains who the Patriots are, why he's still alive, how Liquid never actually took control of Ocelot, and just about everything else that need be explained. Big Boss then Kills Zero and dies himself due to the FOXDIE he contracted from Snake.
