instructions for gimp

this will make me look like a retard. seriously. well, anyway i was wondering. Since i've never had it before, and i did try to download it once (although i was very confused), can someone please give me instructions to download GIMP? I need it clear, and in simple steps. e.g.

1. go to www.gimp.org
2. click on ........... whatever it is
3 then go on ...............
4. do ..............
5. select ..................
and so on and so forth

i know i'll look like an idiot, because i've done about 9 boxes already and haven't even got GIMP yet. but i need to download it, otherwise i'll look more of an idiot.

2- after you enter the site click on (downloads)
3- and then scroll down and you will see contrys and stuff click on the united kingdom thers 2 links click on the first one
4- it will say thers 2 mirerr's click on the 1st one
5- then the download start
6- what ever :p
