looks awesome, but they're making it too confusing now. how can Roxas be there if it's set 10 years before KH1 and Roxas was only created near the end of KH1? Apparently it's not actually him, but some other bloke called Ven, but that can't be right, they're clones of each other! Come on... enough with the lookalikes already, this is really pissing me off! And why is it now everyone and his brother has to have a keyblade? It was cool when it was just Sora because it made it seem like he was really all that chosen one/destiny crap but now it's just like everyone has one.

This is getting a little silly. I LOL'd when I saw Mickey in the epic pose. I mean come on... the Disney characters like Mickey, Goofy, and Donald don't belong in such a serious and epic tale. Sure it's Square Enix, and sure Disney can make something epic, but the characters like the ones I listed just don't fit it at all...

Obviously you never played Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. As a matter of fact the Disney characters make it seem a lot more "epic" and without them it would just be another Final Fantasy.

Yes I have. It makes the story unique, but putting the characters from the old happy cartoons into a serious and epic video game is just meh...

It's looking good. I think the Disney characters are a little silly, but like Greg said, without them, it's just another Final Fantasy. I'm definately going to pick this game up.

The Disney characters add more nostalgia to the game and some tounge-in-cheek humour here and there, but the game seems so much more original than every over generic obscure RPG you see each year, because it did what many people thought would be a disaster. and not to mention Mickey kicks freaking ass in KH2. But like, I was thrilled to finally see Hades and the Genie again after about 10 years.

I was thrilled to see Jack Skellington (not after ten years, though...). Some characters can fit the story, though... Guess your right. Makes it a lot more original.
