I present to you, MadWorld

Sadly, it looks like it will most likely be banned in most places or they'll replace the blood with flowers

EDIT: Heres a scan: http://www.tg-media.net//Scans/May2008/Mad%20World.jpg

Oh yeah, I heard about this game. If more images come out, I'm sure to do a box. Def'o.

Yeah, Methinks all really needed is a good picture of the logo, a nice background image, and the pictures here could pretty much make a hell'ov a kickass box.

This looks pretty good... but i'm not so sure what to think of the art style. It reminds me of the NMH cel-shading (of course) and Sin City's black-and-white with a few colours (blood, etc.). I would rather see a No More Heroes Uncensored Edition released in the UK first, but I'll keep an eye on this one. But I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. Sega's the publisher, and i've never heard of Platinum Games before.

But what has the publisher got to do with the content of the game?

Rising Star Games published the EU version of No More Heroes. I'm not entirely sure about the Aussie version, but I'm sure they did that one too. Ubisoft published the American one. The publisher generally doesn't have a lot to do with the game's content, but look at the PS3 version of The Orange Box. Sega aren't a very good publisher, while they have had some good games in the past couple of years (such as Virtua Fighter 5) they tend to have bad deadlines for the completion of games and will often not put much effort into selling the game. I hate to bring up Sonic games again but it's true. EA, too. The aforementioned Orange Box, and the same generic Sports or NFS game that gets re-released under a different title each year. The publisher don't make the game, but they can have a big impact on the game's sales. No More Heroes was a FLOP, financially. No one wanted to play a game where you could decapitate someone, but no blood would come out. NMH was very violent and had a lot of bad language. The game had some sort of special promotional release event that like, very few people attended, and not one person bought the game in the first 20 minutes. I think this was for Japan, but whatever.

Sweet, I wanted to see that video but it was removed when it was first put up line. The caution sign thing is like totally wicked. :O

Platinum Games isn't just a "nobody". It was formed by most ex-Clover and Capcom employees when Clover got dissolved. Both Shinji Mikami and the DMC creator (forgot his name) are part of it along with other notable people. They are working on several porjects.

These are:

Mad World - Wii
Bayonetta - X360/PS3
Shinji Mikami project - unnannounced

Hiroyuki Kobayashi >_> i think... he was the producer of DMC1 and 4.

but this company sounds awesome. Resi 4 and DMC creators, the Okami team, and a bunch of Capcom workers... how could this go wrong?

(well, it's possible, look at Blue Dragon, that game was destined to kick ass)
