I've been looking for a PS3 fan and I've finally found one. But is it worth it:

I don't have a PS3, nor do I have any experience with fans or anything, but even if you didn't like it, it's only what, $25? You could probably sell it back to a Gamestop for $10

Are PS3's prone to over-heating?

PS3 has such a low failure rate that if you are unlucky enough to be struck by it you might as well not bother doing anything financial as you are that unlucky.

In other words, no, it's not worth it.

The only system that currently has real heating issues would be the Wii (might've been fixed, I dunno) so no, it's not worth it.

Just keep your system in the open (air flow)

Funny story - a friend of mine has a PS3 (only person I know personally who has one) and he was bitching at me and some of the other 360 owners at my school about how easy it is for 360s to break. Next day? His PS3 doesn't work.

Funny story - this annoying troll waltzed into a thread and told an allegory about PS3 being faulty. Next day? No one cared.

It's so cute when you take personal offense to everything I say. ^.^

EDIT: That, uh, wasn't an allegory. I believe you meant to say ANECDOTE.

Didn't you once try to say that your vocabulary was like China to my Vietnam?

That was funny.

It's so cute when trolls start getting delusions of grandeur. ^.^
