Well, not that long ago, (a few weeks?) I found a really cool program for making RPGs (I'm not a big fan of playing them, but they're sure fun to make!) It's called RPG Maker XP, and you can make games with custom maps, scripts, characters, music, enemies, and pretty much everything under the sun, including one of my favorite features, cutscenes!!
So anyway, I'm making a game with my friend, and that's going pretty good, but we don't work on it all the time (we don't live together! :eek:) so I wanted to start a game with you guys!
Well, I thought a cool game to make with this thing (the graphics are SNES/Gameboy quality (think pokemon) maybe even a little crisper) would be a Legend of Zelda game! Now, it wouldn't be one where you can walk around slashing at everything, it would have battle systems like final fantasy, so that's the only thing about making a Zelda game. But other than that, I thought It'd be pretty cool! So after thinking, I figure I'll need people (Or just a person) to help me with: graphics (sprites, battle characters, and things like titles), music, storyline, and if any of you have had ANY experience with RPG maker, I could use some help with putting together maps and events and things, and uhhh... I'll probably think of something else!
So if you'd like to join my team, I'd gladly appreciate it, and I won't cap a limit if there's a bunch of people eager to work with me (doubt it :p) but I also only want people that would be a help to me :D so if you want to sign up, I'll post my team below this paragraph, and I'd like you to post on this thread and send me a PM with why you think you'd be a help to the game! (some sample work would be immpressive ;)) Thanks for reading this whole thing, and thanks for wanting to help me with my game!!
