Should I get Mario Kart Wii?

I want to get it, but I'm broke, so I'm going to see how much I can get for the following games if I sell them:

SSX Blur - Wii
Metroid Prime 3 - Wii
Rayman Raving Rabbids - Wii
Polarium - NDS
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time - NDS
Tony Hawk's American Sk8land - NDS
Timesplitters Future Perfect - GCN
Donkey Konga + Bongos - GCN
F-Zero GX - GCN
Animal Crossing Wild World - NDS

Do you think I could get enough money from EB Games for these games to buy Mario Kart Wii, and if I did, would it be worth it to get it?

Of course you'd have enough, but I'm not sure about selling them all for one game. Two things about that:


I takes FOREVER to sell one game. They have to take address, phone number, etc., for everything (in my experience)
I'd only sell them if you don't play them AT ALL. Some of those games are good ones to just pick up and play when you feel like playing a game

yes, it's a great game. but it seems like you're desperate. if you're only selling those games because you need the money, and not because you want to get rid of them, then I probably wouldn't. It's a sweet game, but it's probably not worth handing over like 10 games for.

Your name is Koopa Dasher. Of course you have to get it! There's also a deal at Gaame Stop that if you trade in two or three Wii games from a selected list (I forget if it's two or three), you can get it for just $10.

This game looks fun, though. I pre-ordered it today because the first batch comes with a free Wii wheel.

OK guys. Looks like I'm getting it. My girlfriend's at EB right now trading in my games for a reserve copy. They said you get 20% more for every game that you trade in towards a purchase of Mario Kart. That, and since it's reserving a copy, I'm guaranteed to have it at 1:30 tomorrow.

Good idea to reserve it. You'll get a free Wii Wheel since it's the first batch, and you never know how quick it can get sold out. They sold out with The World Ends with You on the second day when I wanted it, so I expect Mario Kart Wii to sell out even sooner.

What are the plans for everyone else? I reserved it today to make sure I get the free Wii Wheel. I'm going when it opens tomorrow to pick it up along with the guide. The guide is really required, but it's cool to have.
