So now finally a date has been confirmed by Nintendo for June 27th in Europe!

I wish it would of been earlier but oh well! GTA4 will keep me busy till June:)

This is the first time Nintendo have actually confirmed a date for Super Smash Brawl in Europe!! It was never actually confirmed for May, that was just speculation.

it's still not good. if anything, it's horrible that it's June and not the same time as America. I coudln't care less if it's the official date, it's the date ITSELF thats making me mad.

Im guessing thats because the Sega Megadrive(genesis) outsold the SNES in Europe but nowhere else in the world. Nintendo has had a grudge against us ever since!!:mad:

would you care to explain why we got Mario Kart Wii 2 weeks before the US? It has nothing to do with who hates who. Sony and Microsoft (well, MS aren't that bad when it comes to release dates) do it just as much, i.e. the Playstation 3, FF12, Persona 3 etc. If Nintendo have reason to give us Mario Kart first, then they need reason to give us Brawl later. But i'm glad we have Mario Kart Wii before you greedy americans, it's a great game. And don't say anything about America and Japan being close, we got Galaxy the same day as you, and that's a first-party AAA title just like Brawl and Mariokart.

There isn't exactly alot of text in the game so I think thats just Nintendo making excuses! bullshit. competing with other AAA titles? what AAA titles? The only AAA title so far in 08 is Grand Theft Auto IV. Unless you count Mario Kart, but that's one of Nintendo's own games. If they had kept it the same as the American release, it would be fine. Translation? Who's to say there isn't any Germans or Spanish people living in America? That sounds downright ignorant to me. Translation? Translating what? There is not a line of voice acting in the game except for the occassional grunt, unless you count Snake's codecs (easter eggs on the Shadow Moses Island stage), and there isn't even that much text in the game. PAL encoding? Why not do that when they were doing to NTSC encoding? Maybe they were too lazy, eh? More ignorance. It really takes them five extra months to convert an American game to a European one? Bollocks. If they could release Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda TP the same day as America, I fail to see why they don't do it here. Maybe they were working too hard on ensuring that the new High School Musical game is published across the globe efficiently so it'll become the top-selling DS game. What kind of crack are these fools smoking on? Their excuses are incompetent garbage. I shouldn't have to buy a second-hand freeloader off ebay to play the game, i want it to work on the next Nintendo system.

Hell, Australia doesn't even have a release date yet, and plenty of shops over here are selling the game WITH the freeloader. You can't go wrong, the Freeloader is 100% full proof, providing Nintendo Doesn't bring out an update that blocks it. And in that case, I simply won't get it unless its good and the game actually comes out here.

I have the freeloader too, but I cannot battle (or play as) Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong.
the only way I know of to fix it is to erease all my save data (I can save some on my SD card) by formating the wii system memory.

SD cards are really big ya know... atleast some kinds. I remember putting one in and it had like, 1200 blocks free... and it already had a bunch of pictures on it. You could probably fit all your Wii's memory on there.

why should i HAVE to buy a freeloader? How can we guarantee the game will work on the Wii 2 or whatever? I should be able to walk into a store and go pick up the game normally. And no, I have never seen a freeloader being sold in a store. Hell I don't even know what a freeloader LOOKS like.

I completely 100% agree with you.
Why should I have to pay extra money for a game I should already have by now. Especially considering us Europeans are paying alot more for the game than in America.
