New band featuring Adam D and Jesse Leach... to be honest it's a bit dissapointing. The guy in the Youtube comments said it perfectly:


this is just another by-the-books metalcore song. Is that all Adam knows how to write? What happened to this comment from their press release: "It's an entirely new project and represents a different musical path for both Adam D. and Leach!"

I'm not saying this is a bad song per say, but this is NOT a different musical path. I was really hoping this would be a bit more original. What a disappointment.

It's pretty good so far, but I'm just not feeling it much compared to Lust in Space, but then again Lust in Space took quite a few listens to sink in, so this is probably a grower too. I'm on the track KZ Necromancer right now, best track so far.

I felt that way too at first, but take some time to get into it, maybe read the lyrics, and it really becomes a much greater listening experience. Lust in Space, Where is Zog? and Make a Child Cry are all also great tracks.

This fucking slays. Extreme metal at its best, in my opinion. The unrelenting aggression of thrash metal with the brutality and musicianship of technical death metal. Production is absolutely tight. This album alone already beats every single tired re-thrash album out there (Bonded by Blood, Warbringer etc.)

Whoever likes thrash but wants more out of it, or those who want to like technical death metal but can't get past the vocals, get some Revocation shit and start headbanging.

I'm not trying to rub it in your face, but they're the kind of band that seeing in a small venue is one of those magical, crazy, unforgettable moments. If you haven't seen them, and this goes to anybody, do it if you can. It's an experience.

Plus one of my friends is a huge fan of them, and she was the one who introduced me to them before the release of Act II. I feel it is only nescessary to take her to see them as well. I can only hope that do not perform in a 21+ only venue.

I just realized that they are performing at Virginia on the 15th thru 16th. Do I want to drive 200 miles south to see them?

The answer is yes. It was just under 250 miles for us, but it was agreed it was totally worth it. I guess the opening acts are a little important too, because it helps soften the blow, but honestly, their encore was at least five more songs... I'd have to say they played for at least 75 minutes or so.
