Cannibal corpse are pretty mediocre, there are much better Death metal bands worth your time. If you really wanna check out Cannibal corpse though, try their debut, Eaten Back to Life. If you like Corpsegrinder's(singer on later Cannibal Coprse albums) vocals try Monstrosity - Imperial Doom, he sang on that album before Cannibal Corpse and it's much better than anything they've done.

Avenged Sevenfold - buried alive

Yay new avenged song!! sounds kinda metallica-ish but im really liking it after listening to it a couple of times. Have high hopes for this album, sounds like its going to be alot better than their last album and maybe even as good as city of evil.

Same here. City of Evil's the only good album they have so far, have high hopes for Nightmare. Their self-titled was crap, save for Almost Easy and maybe Critical Acclaim. Afterlife is so overrated and overplayed.

The only songs I really like are Hammer Smashed Face and Make Them Suffer. They have the odd decent track here and there but nothing to write home about. I think Chris Barnes (original guy) is a pretty crappy vocalist, though.

He's a pretty bad vocalist in Cannibal Corpse, Eaten Back to Life is the only album he's decent on.

This will actually be my first Amorphis album, but I will check out their new one next if it's good.

The new one is awesome, one of their most melodic yet but it still has heavy bits. "From the Heaven of My Heart" is sort of like something you'd hear in a Final Fantasy game (it's awesome). I would highly reccomend it if you like Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, stuff like that.
