The album is pretty good. I think my gripe with it is that it sounds really strong and stuff at the beginning, but after about 6 or 7 songs it starts to slow down and becomes too "jammy". My favourite songs are the first half. They're a nice mix of QOTSA and Led Zeppelin, but sometimes it feels like they went overboard with it.

I was almost kind of expecting them to go in a more melody-oriented/commercial direction like Killswitch, Sonic Syndicate and to a lesser extent, All That Remains, but this is exactly what metalcore should be like. It's easily one of the heaviest metalcore albums I've heard so far. Tim's vocals are mean as fuck.

I'm not a big Wayne fan, in fact I used to despise him. But I've grown to realize his talent. Sometimes he's really good, and sometimes really bad. He's in the middle with me. The thing is, he has a lot of good metaphors and similes, but he's always rapping about the same subjects, which I hate.

But also, Love the Way You Lie by Em and Rihanna is really good.

Agree completely. I miss the old Em with all the controversy, tracks with D12 and Dre, and the old beats. But eventually you have to open up and do new thinks, and luckily in his case it didn't hurt him. I don't think he's as good as he used to be, but he's still the best in the game and I have to respect what he's doing with all the collabs and whatnot. Album is really good nevertheless, probably my third favorite behind SSLP and MMLP.

Wait what? I was not implying that Oh Sleeper is the best ever, nor was I laughing at the fact you were listening to them, I was laughing at the band. I tried them, found them to not be that great and just off beat, still one of my worst albums of last year. Well... I want to like them and I don't at the same time. I find it annoying that they just released their debut album and like a week later they're opening for one of the biggest bands on the planet. They say they're not interested in the "rock n' roll lifestyle" but their video basically has tons of chicks and stuff.

The music is pretty good, though. They're more like a Guns N' Roses/Skid Row kind of thing. Check 'em out.
