If you're into Brian Eno's debut album Here Come the Warm Jets, which is a fantastic record, this one (and pretty much all of his ambient records) might be kind of hard to swallow. I think it's one of the most atmospheric records ever released - its dark ambience is really unique and amazing.

Highly recommended.

Oh definitely, I'd say it's better. Don't get me wrong, the older stuff is great but this new album is pretty damn good. "Pop Art Blue" and "Swing" have this chillout theme which I'm loving. Thanks so much for introducing them to me.

I absolutely love this band's upbeat jangle pop songs. THIS band knew how to make a pop song without it being boring, generic and overly simple.

Fully agreed, they are amazing. Their I.R.S. records are so fucking awesome, all 5 of them. Their latest album Accelerate is their best 00s album I think, you should give it a listen!

What I love about In the Aeroplane over the Sea is that while Jeff Magnum supposedly wrote the album as a response to reading Anne Frank's Diary - some lines could relate to any child living in a hostile situation.

Holland, 1945. Two-headed Boy and Oh Comely are some of the most powerful songs that all happen to be on one album.

Also, anyone who hasn't, please check out MGMT's new album. I think it is a much better album than Oracular Spectacular.
