My favourite records by them are Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, By the Way and Stadium Arcadium. Their earlier albums are cool as well, very "different", I'd say. I think you wouldn't really dig their first couple of albums if you're not into them a lot. My favourite song by them is probably Desecration Smile. The albums Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magik are awesome if you want to get into their funk rock side. (Their earlier records are much funkier though)

I've always been a fan of their catchy jingles. This, Bad Day, Losing My Religion, Shiny Happy People (lots of people including the band hate this song.. but I love it)


Thier catchy songs are great, but also check out their "darker" stuff. There are some songs like that on their latest album (Accelerate) like Houston and Accelerate. Their 1985 record Fables of the Reconstruction is pretty "dark" overall. Also, the song Drive from their 1992 record Automatic for the People. I personally prefer their "darker" stuff.

I haven't heard The man who sold the world album (only the title track which came along the compilation album).

My favourite Bowie albums would be in this order...

Low > Ziggy Stardust > Hunky Dory > Heroes > Station to Station > Space Oddity and then the rest.

P.S. Robert Fripp is a guitar GOD. His work on Bowie's album(s) was amazing.

Andddddd Don't Fear The Reaper cover by Pierce The Dickhole is terrible. Except for the solo.
Crazy Train is just irritating and tried to turn poppy a lot, which doesn't work.
The Maine doing Pour Some Sugar On Me is actually pretty good, stays pretty true to the original but I only listened through half of it.
Envy On The Coast is always a fun listen.
Every Avenue covering Take Me Home Tonight sounds like every other pop band on there. AND WOW WHAT'S WITH THE GAY VOICE AFTER THE CHORUS.
Ugh. Nevershoutnever doing Bohemian Rhapsody.
Blessthefall's cover of Dream On is really nice and stays true to the original, no breakdowns or screams.

And that's my review.
1/3 of the CD = Good
2/3 = Generic pop covers.
