I've Heard of Adema.

I have all of Adema's albums (Adema, Insomniac's Dream, Unstable, Planets, Kill The Headlights). Amazing band. They have changed lineups a bunch, but as of a couple of months ago, they're back to their original lineup. And they're planning to release a new album within the next year and a half or so. I'm so psyched for it! :D I even got some praise for my art, FROM THE BAND THEMSELVES!

I haven't been calling anyone out about not liking Dream Theater. All I've been doing is talking up certain songs and proclaiming people who do like it to have awesome music taste by default. There's a huge difference. Once you've been to a proper progressive concert you will appreciate it's artistic merit more. Point is, they are possibly the best band on earth. Their guitarist has headlined G3 more than any other guitarist (other than Satch and Vai, but they're the ones who run it), their drummer is the only metal drummer to be inducted into the drumming hall of fame, their bassist is an absolute MONSTER, their keyboardist is hands down the best keyboardist on earth, and whether you like his voice or not, Labrie has a huge range and has amazing control over his voice. His timbre, vibrato techniques and note control is insane.

The Dark Eternal Night does have a reasonably length instrumental. Whether you think this instrumental fits the meat of the song is your opinion. Doesn't mean it isn't one of the most challenging and artistic songs out there.

I'm not ordering or telling anyone to do anything. There's a difference between attempting to convince someone, and ordering them. You convince a police officer to not give you a traffic fine, you order a street rat to get the fuck away from your bike. You need to discern this difference in case you want to make a post without looking like you're making shit up in future.

Canto 34 - Five Finger Death Punch

I really like this band, but there's something about them that annoys me. I have a strong feeling they're going to sell out in the future. They've only been really popular for about a year, maybe a year and a half (both their albums came out this year in the UK, but their debut came out in '07 in the US) and the only songs they ever promote are ballads and stuff. I hate that, when you have a really heavy band but they always focus on the soft songs so they'll get on the radio and they'll get tons of money. I was watching the video for "Dying Breed" which is my favourite song by them (it's awesome) and it's just a bunch of live clips put into a video, but you can see their stage and they have so much awesome, expensive shit, and I just have a bad feeling all the money, chicks and expensive equipment is going to get the best of them and they're going to pull a Slipknot on us.

I find there nothing wrong with being a fan of the Backstreet Boys. I have been a fan for nearly fifteen years. So if you have a problem with my fandom, don't post stuff that could insult me. Seriously.

I always have my playlist on shuffle, so I don't know what song will be played one after the other. And about a third of my playlist is Backstreet Boys, So I got a 33%+ chance of having one of their songs being played.
