Midway Games has annouced five new games for the Wii and DS. They inculde kid-handheld games, arcade classics, and minigame collections. CEO of Midway David Zucker has annouced these games. Only for the Nintendo Wii is a spinoff of a action arcade game called Cruis'n Superbikes. A sports game exculsive for the Nintendo Wii is Game Party: Sports Fair instead of playing billards and such you play sports. The Rush series takes a new turn to Vegas in Vegas Rush. A remake of a classic arcade game exculsive for the Nintendo DS is Cruis'n DS and a new version of the first and second installments of the Mortal Kombat series for the Nintendo DS.

"The Wii and Nintendo DS requires games that are innovative and take full advantage of a unique control scheme to offer a truly different type of gameplay experience," said Matt Booty, executive vice president - worldwide studios, Midway. "We are very excited to be bringing new installments to Midway franchises such as Mortal Kombat and Cruis'n to the massive installed base of Nintendo system owners."

Midway's 2008 Nintendo line up with expected ship dates include:

Cruis'n Superbikes (Wii, November)

A all new installment of the classic Midway arcade racer, Cruis'n Superbikes is coming exclusively to the Wii. Choose your ride from an impressive lineup of licensed bikes and experience a rush of adrenaline as you race opponents through eight different street circuits using the Wii Remote™ to steer and perform outrageous stunts. Win races and earn upgrades including: turbos, body kits, neon and nitrous, allowing you to create the ultimate ride.

Game Party: Sports Fair (Wii, November)

Game Party: Sports Fair for the Wii is a collection of classic sports games from around the world. From American sports, venues to European gathering spots. Using the Wii's unique control interface, you can play classics such as darts; modern favorites such as Dodgeball, Hockey, and Basketball or participate in multiplayer trivia contests or via Nintendo WiFi Connection to play with other people around the world. More than a half dozen games are available. It's the ultimate party game.

Vegas Rush (Wii, November)

The Rush series goes back in time to the 1970's. It's Vegas Rush you rush through the streets of Las Vegas such as The Strip and other places. Take on the streets with licensed cars, trucks, vans, bikes, etc. Or challenge people in muiltiplayer mode or via Nintendo WiFi Connection. It's the biggest rush yet!

Cruis'n DS (Working Title) (DS, November)

Cruis'n goes portible and take on extoic places like Korea, Las Vegas, or even Hong Kong. Choose between fifthty licensed cars and take on the streets by doing crazy stunts and spins. Customize your own vechile with anything you disire. Play through Muiltiplayer or via Nintendo WiFi Connection to take on the streets with other people.

Mortal Kombat: Double Gore (DS, November)

Mortal Kombat one and two returns in a all new way! Chose over 14 characters and choose over 24 stages. It's the most violent Mortal Kombat game yet it has all the blood and gore also there's a all new version of Puzzle Kombat which you play as 14 characters and travel through all 24 stages. Get ready for a bloodest DS game yet! Toasty!
