The Lame Lame Lame MGS4 Official Boxarts (except for US)

I was quite amazed when I first saw the MGS4 official boxart for Japan... I was like urgghhh this sooo disgusting!! So then I thought Europe will probably get the most nicest boxart as for all MGS games, it looked like Europe's one was the most sleekest. But then, just a hour ago I was lurking around the Playstation 3 forums, when I saw the official EU and USA boxarts which where released yesterday... It looks like USA got the most trendiest boxart... Oh well... Below I've listed each MGS game from MGS1 and the boxarts for each region so you can compare etc..

Japan and America got the most plainest boxarts a game could ever get, while Europe got a sleek boxart with official art... For MGS on PSOne I conclude that Europe got the best boxart.

Europe and America's boxarts are basically the same while Japan's one is unique than the rest. For MGS2 on PS2 I conclude that Japan had got the best boxart.

Well, I guess for color scheme, Japan and America's boxarts both collide, but Europe's boxart is more unique and simple. My opinion is that Europe had gotten the better boxart.

Japan's boxart basically looks like one of those Join The Army posters... lol
I dislike it. Europe's boxart is more arty and has the more MGS feel, but the orangey ruins it.. America's one looks the most unique out of all of them and the most sleekest... I say for PO America got the best.

As you can see, Japan and Europe's boxes look like terminator... America's is the most appealing and the most nicest compared to the others... You get my point...

MGS4's american boxart is appealing?

... are you out of your mind? That box is horrible. Terribly designed, bad logo placement, and a crappy closeup of Snake. We want to see Snake, but not just his face. If they're going to put a picture of Snake, they might as well put a background with some of those walker things on, maybe approaching him or something, and his eyes are just slightly peering at them, to give a more stealthy feeling. The Europe and Jap boxes have the "techno-gadget-guy" feel to em.

I prefer the European & Japanese MGS4 boxes. Like all previous MGS boxes they use the unique painted style. While the US box looks rather rushed and amateurish.

i like all version of all the boxes, but with the MGS4 US one, i think the logo placement is just bad and should be like the EU/JP versions.

Yeah, the US mgs4 isn't as good as either the jap or euro ones, but it's mainly the logo placement that killed it for me. I don't mind the close up so much.

I'm sure I'll probably get used to it anyway....

Logo placement looks efffing horrible on the US version, if they do not change it soon, I'll replace the cover with the Euro design.

None of the MGS3 boxes are good I mean the US looks alright but they could of done alot better. It doesnt look appealing at all. So all I have tosay is DA DERP DEE DERP DA TEETLEY DERPEE DERPEE DUMB

imo, the US MGS3 Boxart goes away from the classy artistic styled covers.

MGS4 does this as well. Jap and Europe have beautifully drawn images of Snake whilst the US has this terribly placed one of Snake, giving us a look at his elderly, wrinkled face. I aggree with Vengeance. They could of at least put some soldiers there or something.

Though I do aggree about the Europe Portable Ops Box. Since none of them had that artistic Style I love, I thought the US one was pretty nifty.
