Fast Halo WIP

My friend Pat owns FastHalo and his website is www.fasthalo.com, and im making a boxart for one of his montages...its a WIP, abd i need some advise...i cant make drop shadows for some reason, they dont come out transparent, the shadows are just gray outlines instead of transparent shadows....someone please help, heres the box so far:

i added the fasthalo logo, but as you can see, the top front is left with white space (big NO NO) so i need to do something there...and i need some ideas and shit, it would be GREATLY appreciated ;)
