I just had a great idea to help stop people rating boxes whatever they want to piss people off (I myself have recently become the victim of this).

Make it so that you can only rate a box if you post a reply, this will make people able to rate them and also stop random, anonymus people coming along and rating boxes because they either hate the person who made it or are just jackasses.

great idea vetka i have also had this happen to me and only 2 of my boxes actually suck. everyone could rat out the morons doing this i support your idea. :)

I'm not going to require a comment to vote, because I think we'd end up with a lot of random comments. Plus I just like being able to vote w/o posting a comment.

I'm considering making the voters public, but that has its downsides too.

At the very least though, I will be going through the logs every so often to cull the idiots out who are voting in such a way (giving all 1s/etc).

Thanks Reed, whoever gave my box a 1 needs to be banned and the rating stricken from record.

I never give someone a 1 without posting a message.

I also like the idea of not having to comment but if douchbags are just going to abuse the system, something has to be done, but culling the people who do it seems sufficient.

i know you wont like this idea but the voting system has everyone hyped up about what they're getting and it doesnt show much so why dont we just stop doing it and make people put down comments. i know it would stink but it would stop all these ones from coming on to our good box arts.

Same here, don't remove the rating system, it's awsome, we just need to get rid of the fags that spoil it for everyone.

Hopefully Reed can find out who is doing it and ban them.
