Both are really good. I love Ervos Indy box because it just looks very good, however I don't feel it captures the fun and spirit of Indy movies, it's just a bit generic. And I don't like the back text. The front is also just the poster and the back is just a pic from the movie made darker. Which judging by the material available, wouldn't be a big deal, but in comparison to the edits that went into Johnson's box, it does matter.

Sergeant Johnson's, you can tell took a lot of effort. Whilst it looks a bit cartoony, it's still looks awesome. Whilst the back is a bit plain, the front is amazing and takes a basic idea (the old picture of the logo on stone) and messes with it a bit and the dino was a great idea. The layout also is very well thought out .

My vote goes to Sergant Johnson.

I vote for Ervo, it looks more official and i can see it as the real box. Sargent box is great but the movie would be on Blu Ray due to Universal Pictures sport of HD DVD and i also don't like the cartoon feel of the box.

Okay, two things. That last point does not matter at all. It has nothing to do with how the box looks.

2. Universal announced they are switching to blu-ray disc.

However, I will still accept Ratchetcomand's vote as he states a valid reason. "I vote for Ervo, it looks more official and i can see it as the real box."

^Oh my bad. I still don't like the box because the back feels to empty, i also don't like the fact how the copyrigth info is on the top of the box.

The front of Serge's box is really good and the back of Ervo's Indy box is pretty good, but i see more effort in sarge's boxart in the front.

My vote goes to Sergant Johnson

Both well-made, I'm nudging towards SJ's box because it's more innovative. I vote for SJ.

I vote for Ervo, because Johnson took my template and didn't give me credit. And Indiana Jones just beats the crap out of JP anyway.

First impressions are:

Ervo's box looks like a decent official DVD cover, even though it's a bit lacking in additional features. In fact, it looks very much like an old style DVD box and would have suited an older Indy movie. Not too keen on the text however, and it could have used a tagline.. you know like previous Indy films "The man in the hat is back" sort of thing.

SJ's box - The front is really good.. nicely put together, however... I'm not a fan of the back. I have a few Blu-ray movies, and it's lacking a lot of the specs. IMO - if you're going to make it a blu-ray box, you have to really promote the extra features... or people would just get the DVD version. Don't like the claw on the back as it's repeated from the front, and it needs more excitement.

So with that... Ervo just edges it.

There's not that much info of the plot of new Indy. And the front is not only the official movie poster :) Good luck tou you Sergeant! BTW, did you take the copyright thing from my ps2 template :D

I vote for Ervo, because SJ's seems somewhat plain to me, and I like the colors on Ervo's box.

Sergant Johnson gets my vote. his box brings a more cooler feel to the movie showing on the front what this movies all about and has a great back description

I don't think that's a very fair reason for the vote... that has nothing to do with how good the box is.

Sergant Johnson wins this round and will proceed to compete in ROUND 2, leaving Ervo to step down with dignity knowing he tried his best.
