OK, so I need to know when is best for everyone to have the Brawl competition, because I have a few problems. I assume you want to have it on the weekend, probably Saturday, but Friday or Sunday is good too. Here are my problems:
1. I can't have it on the 14th, 15th, 16th, 21st, 22nd, or 23rd, because that is my spring break, and I will not be near a computer to be able to monitor the competition.
2. I can do it the 28th or the 30th, or anytime after that, in April. Decide when you want to have it.
The current rules are as follows. Feel free to comment or add your own ideas:
1. You will pick one character to play as. This will be your character throughout the competition. You are not allowed to change your character.
2. There will be a loser's Round, just like in the boxart competitions, but the rules for those games will be much tougher, in order to make the loser's work to get back into the main competition.
3. The matches will be both Team and Free for All battles. I am also considering having a round that will focus on the players designing their own custom stages to play on, but I am not sure at this time if the game allows that.
4. At the moment the competition will be straight Tournament rules for the most part. 5 lives, Best of 3, Items on Medium, Hammers and Golden Hammers turned off on the item switch. If you would like to have themed matches, such as Kirby Team vs Pokemon Team, or a Huge Brawl, or a Swordsman Only Brawl, let me know, and I will see what I can do. The current opinion is to keep the pure, simple rules.
Only 19 days left!!!! :D
