Thats because most sequel to games do this!
Halo 2 logo was just the Halo logo with a 2 on it. same with Halo 3

And im sure there are a hundred more examples of this but im too busy to find them all out =D

Well, it's a critique. Honestly, I feel the same way.

It's just...not enough to "wow" me (and apparently vengeance as well). Don't misunderstand, though. The logo's not necessarily bad, it's just I'm very reserved on my highest compliments. While you didn't do a bad job by any means in squeezing the "2" in there, it's not exactly a very unique as creative as I could desire.

However, once again in any case: "not bad" ;)
