Well no one can really explain how to use photoshop, it would take too long. The best thing to do is play around with it, experiment and teach yourself, that's what i did.

It very hard to answer 'how do you use photoshop?' so play around with it, try and do what you want to do, and if you come into any obstacles, just holla :). PM me about it. click on my name on this post and then click send a Personal Message to Kirbylore. Good Luck :D
I'll get you started: open your template, open you background, click the tool from the toolbar on the very top with the arrow and directional symbol, and drag your background onto the template document. now click layers on your tabs, and move your background behind the template. Next go to edit at the top, free transform, and then while holding doen the shift key, drag one of the corners of the wallpaper in or out untill it is the size you want it. remember to hold shift!!! ok, now click on the square dashed line on your toolbar (the button under the top one), then click the button that pops up that says transform image or something (should be on the far left of the pop-up). now click the square dashed line shape again and drag it across the part of the wallpaper that is not inside the template. let go and click the backspace button. do this as many times as it takes to get the area squared off. now do that WHOLE thing again for your title, ESRB, dev logos, etc, but remember to cut them out first!
cutting: ok, so grab that tool the fourth on down by clicking on it (looks like a magic wand) and click on the empty space around your title (this simple technique works well with simple tasks) and go to select on the top of your screen, then click inverse, and drag the image that's now being circled by those moving dashed lines into your box image. walla! easy huh? these are the VERY BASICS!!! there is a plethera of stuff to find out about photoshop that takes people years to learn how to do fluently.
again, good luck and personal message me for questions!!
