Sonic the Hedgehog 2006
the most dissapointing game, EVER. i wouldn't mind if it was called Sonic Chaos 2 or some shit like that but the fact that it shares the same name as the very first game makes it all the worse.

Devil May Cry 2
Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
Lair
Sonic and the Secret Rings
Pokemon Diamond
Crash Twinsanity
Clive Barker's Jericho
Nights: Journey of Dreams
Worms Open Warfare 2
Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Tournament 2004

and many more that I can't be bothered to remember.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 Thought this was going to be Sonic's comeback...lookalikes his retirement.
Lair Damn you Factor 5, you disappoint me.
Clive Barker's Jericho I hated it, it a real disappointment
Nights: Journey of Dreams I love the first two Saturn Versions (the Orginal and Christmas), but this one was a real disappointment.
Halo 3 Next to Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, and Crysis, Halo 3 was a disappointment for me for a shooter and a sequel.
Super Paper Mario Should have stayed on the Gamecube.

BTW just because it a disappointment to me, doesn't mean that all these games suck :P

Shadow The Hedgehog

Awkward camera makes things worst and the guns are barely useless and the story was awful. Sonic Team you disapponit me once again.

Pokemon Battle Revoution

I thought it will have many elements from the staduim series but no they added whole bunch of stuff on there that is pointless expect for the WiFi play.

Shadow The Hedgehog

Awkward camera makes things worst and the guns are barely useless and the story was awful. Sonic Team you disapponit me once again.

the story was not bad at all. It explained much more about Shadow's past and the events of the predecessing games Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes. Everything had cleared up until Sonic the Hedgehog on the 360 in which everything got messed up with the whole Mephiles thing. I admit that the game wasn't so good, and the Black Doom thing was kinda lame, but the story was not at all "awful".

"The guns are barely useless" this makes no sense. First of all, the guns were ESSENTIAL to complete the game, as you needed to shoot things from long distances at times. Obviously you haven't unlocked the Shadow Rifle yet; it's the most useful object in the entire game, it kills most to all enemies in a single shot and can take bosses down in seconds. Either you don't know what you're talking about and/or your english is very bad.

I know, I was such an idiot back then... the game isn't bad, it just isn't that good. everyone said it was awful because of the guns, but it's not as bad as people say although it does have lots of problems (glitches and such).

Honestly (also with Shadow) when they mixed guns into the game it became less fun. I don't like shooting games. And I liked how in Jak and Daxter there were 'levels' to go to, but in Jak !! you went to places in a big city. I also don't like games where I have to watch out for cops.

But I must say, the hovercars were sooooo much fun. I love hopping from one to another in mid-flight.

nonetheless, jak II integrated the gta style of gameplay perfectly in a platform game.

For me the most disappointing game I've played would be FF X-2. It was still good, but nowhere near its predecessor.

I thought Killzone was dissapointing because of all the hype about it being a "Halo-killer". It was a decent game but the controls were really clunky, the graphics were pretty ugly and the multiplayer was next to useless. The story was cool though. I'm hoping the sequel can live up to the hype...

Also, Crash/Spyro Fusion. When I heard Crash and Spyro were having a crossover I was excited as hell. It's just a collection of the same repetitive mini-games with a random storyline thrown in.

if super mario 64 was on the gcube and sunshine on the n64, '64 would be one of the greatest games ever.

here are some more, sorry for the bump, i got bored.

Mario Kart Wii
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3
Mass Effect
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity
Blacksite: Area 51
Frontlines: Fuel of War

none of those were bad, some of them were awesome, but they failed to reach the bar that was set by their predecessors (if they had any). I know you'll all flame me for saying Mass Effect, but I honestly didn't like it. I was so overhyped and it definitely isn't GOTY-worthy. But whatever.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl was dissapointing because:

-it was too short and easy
-the Sinnoh region is too small
-the plot is too predictable
-the GTS is broken, you can hardly ever find a good deal
-there were too many legendaries/one-time-only pokemon, and a lot of them sucked

it was still an awesome game but it could've been so much better.

Metroid Prime: Hunters
Multiplayer is a blast, but the single player mode is too boring. The puzzles are simplistic, the enemies aren't varied and mostly appear out of a portal, and there are only two bosses that you fight four times each, all of them ending with a timed escape sequence. Easily the worst Metroid game in terms of single player but the best in multiplayer.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The controls work really well in this game, and it's by far the most playable game in terms of gunplay and its puzzles are fun to solve. However, the game is the easiest in the Prime trilogy, which takes all of the fun out of it. Plus because it's the most story-driven game in the Metroid series, (besides Fusion) the game is more linear than the other two Primes but it isn't the most linear game in the series. Samus prefers to be alone in a Metroid game, just like StarFox should stick to the skies instead of walking.

Metroid Fusion
I'll admit the game is fantastic, but it disappoints me because it is possibly the most linear game in the Metroid series. There is very little exploration to be found in the game, and sequence breaking is impossible. The only time you are actually exploring the game is when you need to find the security locks, but the paths are so straightfoward, there is little difficulty to be found finding these locks. The game shines in terms of its gameplay, story, and fun bossfights.

StarFox Assault
The game wasn't that great at all. The game only shines when you are fighting in space in your Arwing, but the game is a mess on foot, the controls are frustrating and hard to get used to. The biggest problem in this game, is that there are more on foot missions than flying. What happened to the original StarFox gameplay? Remember the quote from StarFox 64:

"I'll take the sky any day." - Falco
I agree.

Beyond Good and Evil
The game had a Zelda feel to it, and it is very good. Puzzles are unique, and the stealth missions are fun as heck. The game has an open world and you are free to explore to a destination of your wish. All of that gets thrown down the drain once you finish the game; the final boss is as frustrating as ever, you literally have to turn your controller upside down some of the time, and if you beat the boss, you are rewarded with a very disappointing ending.

More to come

Halo 3, dissapointing? Halo 3 is by far the best in the series. The only think I didn't like about it is that The Arbiter was such an asstard. He would stare at the walls most of the time and he couldn't shoot for shit. Besides that it was an AMAZING game. Hell, even VEKTA, the self-proclaimed Hater of Halo(tm) agrees (well, kinda).

Crysis for sure.

I read all these great reviews talking about how pretty it is and how fun it is. I think it's very average. My old computer could run it just fine up to medium graphics, but it crashed when I tryed to do high. My new computer is a Vista and it can barely run low. I don't see what the big deal is.
