I can't figure out how to overlap an image with another in GIMP. I wanted to do the same thing as "Edit, Paste From" in Paint. I can't add any renders or templates over images without that.
Thanks in advance. Please respond ASAP.

Just load two images into your program (not sure about GIMP exactly... talking about photoshop)... and either...
1. With the Move Tool (V) drag one image into the other. The 'moved' image will appear as a second layer in your destination image.
or
2. Select what you want to copy from 1st image using selection tools, select COPY, and then on the destination image, PASTE it and it'll again appear as a separate image.
If you don't know bout layers... then I suggest you read up about it as both GIMP and Photoshop use it and are possibly most important thing about the program to know! ;)

I've known that for a long time, but the images that I pase onto another image always have a blakc background instead of transparent.

Well if your getting your images from like Planet Renders or something you have to drag it into the program you cant copy and paste I'm pretty sure.

Thenw ere can I get renders? And I'm even trying to put templates of and image to see if that works so I can have a c4d or something on the background, but even the templates from this site do not work.

Don't copy and paste from the source. If it's a render, save as .png and open it in GIMP, then copy and paste from there.

You mean copy from My Pictures? They don't even show up if I do that.
