I am new to the site, I have read through some stickies and searched for similar topic threads...
But there is the possibility that I am breaking a rule or posting in the wrong place, and if so, I apologize, please feel free to let me know how to post this, and I will certainly follow the rules.
OK... let me state, I am a programmer and I write games for Colecovision. That is a 25 year old game system, and so this falls into the category of a small hobby... all though I do sell the cartridges, its a very small operation and I cannot offer payment for work.
But, I can certainly offer credit, and the game will come out on cartridge, and I will give you a cartridge, and that has a value, certainly as a keepsake, but in actuality could be resold on e-bay for a few dollars, so a real value as well.
Anyway....here is the challenge:
http://shop.rastersoft.net/
Look at this website, you see they sell one game, Frog Feast. The game, has had 3 different boxarts over time.
I am porting this very same game to colecovision. In fact, its nearly done.
I cannot use any of the original box art. I have a license to port this game, but not to use the boxart, and, not to use the music, but thats a different issue.
Anyway...so, I need to do my own box art. Now, I would like it in the retro colecovision style, example here:
http://www.intvfunhouse.com/parkerbros/box/frgr-000.jpg
That says intellivision, and this is colecovision, but it gives you an idea of the style.
Basically I was looking for a Frog Feast box art. No copying of the artwork from the other Frog Feast boxes...no copying of the artwork from Frogger. No copying of anyone's copyrighted artwork.
If someone wants to do a box art...or multiple people, I will pick the best one.
Free cartridge...and an in-game credit. 100 or so people will buy the game.
Thanks
