How to make a .gif

Ok... I know you can save a file as a .gif image, however how do you make one with multiple frames. As well how do you get them in motion.

any help is appreciated, thanks

I use Macromedia Flash MX. I just put the images in frames, and export the animation as an Animated GIF.

I use Imageready cs2. it works for me ;).
