I need some help with Paint.NET...

Could someone link me to a tutorial or tell me how to cut stuff and how to make stuff overlap things?

yay! something I know how to do!

to cut stuff, go to the Tools box, and select "Magic Wand" This is a little white stick with a red top. Then select the thing you want to cut, and left click. Then go to the top bar, and right below the Image bar there is a scissors logo. Click that. After that, a checkboard pattern will appear; when I first started Paint. NET I was really confused with that, but that just the image without a background.

To make stuff Overlap:

Go to the Layers thing, and click the logo on the bottom with 2 little papers and a +. You will then have a new layer, and you could put anything there.

Just in case you want the new layer transparent:

Go to the Layers option on the top bar, and click Layer Properties, and just fool around with that a bit
