i decided to make a tip thread on WHAT NOT TO DO for making boxes

few of them would be

DONT MAKE A BOX OUT OF A WALLPAPER

MAKE SURE THE ESRB LOGOS ARE PROPERLY PLACED

MAKE SURE THE TEMP ISNT A MILLION TIMES TO SMALL

Don't post a box and say something like "I know it isn't good but..."

Don't attempt 3D functions if you can't get it right.

Don't post a million boxes a day.

Don't be a Ranmakuu.

-Don't use the excuse "I was bored..." unless you want to be seriously pwned.
-Don't smear other consoles unless you want to be bombarded by fanboyz.
-Don't *Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!* Sorry... I couldn't resist... :P

That's all I've got for now... don't say anything about me breaking any of my rules, because I'm no longer gonna make boxes, just comment/fav them.

dont make the pics blurry
dont dis other boxes if you cant do any better yourself
dont use blurry temps

If your new, submit your boxes to the critiques forum. There are so many n00bs who think they're better then everyone else when in reality, they're not.

Don't leave as much white in the box as possible
don't try to start a flame wars
DO ask for advice [ experienced members are most likely to give a hand ]
Don't make a HUGE background behind the box.

-PUT EFFORT IN YOUR BOX

-POST IT IN THE FORUMS FIRST

-TAKE OTHER PEOPLES ADVICE

-USE GIMP (http://www.gimp.com/downloads)!

-DONT CAUSE FLAME WARS!

-RESPECT EACHOTHER
