I was just wondering what percentage of Opacity everyone uses when creating a reflection on their box art...

I use 30% and then apply a layer mask to make it fade out

I usually do around 50% and put the eraser tool on 20% opacity and erase the bottom to give it the fade away look.

The rule of 37%.

Well at least that's the rule I go by. I always use 37% opacity in reflections......It's just so perfect.........

can I say that again, 37.....37.....ahhhh

ok I'm done :)

I use quite a low opacity... usually 15 or 20% which seems effective against a black background. Up to 30% seems reasonable too.

Depends on what looks best with the box and BG.

Between 30 - 40% depending on the color scheme i use. I then apply a layer mask to make it fade.

Same here, 15-20% is a good range.

Then i use a feathered square to make it fade out.
