However, I'm also trying to perfect the style of my comp box, which explains why it's still not even half way done XD I can, however, confidently promise you guys that it is a very unique style not only for what I've been doing so far, but quite possibly with boxes in general. I've pretty much got the front design final and I'm still experimenting with the back so pls don't rush me. Though very risky in terms of design, because of its style, (esp for a comp box) it's a risk I'm very willing to take :)

The reason why I can't start the rounds when I'm at my votech class is because their server provider blocks "private/public storage communities" which is what photobucket, flickr, and imageshack.net are.

I can't start the competition on the wii because I don't have the time to type in the code using only the Wii Remote. Plus, I can't copy/paste on there so I'm left with just posting posts and commenting on boxarts.

unfortunately, i delayed the deadline to December 6th because of two reasons.

1. I'm done with the front but need some time on the back. However, I'm right now visiting my aunt's house. Not to mention i went to New York City with my family yesterday.

2. Another user has PMed me saying he is going somewhere and won't have enough time to finish his box.

For those concerned about the way the rounds work, yes, there will be a losers' round so the people who lost in this round can bounce back to the fray.

However, if you do lose in the losers' round, you will lose in the competition altogether. The next thing that will happen is the people that lose in the winners' round will verse the winners of the losers' round in round three.

I have told some people before, but before round 2 can start I must announce it:

I am resigning from the competition.

I had initially planned to leave before the competition could start, but after being arranged into a match with ffseer, it would be very rude of me to decline a match with him as I have much respect for him :) (As I also do with Destined)

So before round 2 can start, yes I must respectfully leave the contest due to a pile up of projects that I initially wanted to design. I have also abandoned my resource thread which I regretfully know that I shouldn't have. But the prime reason is: My school finals are coming up! yes! I know I have to study my ass off due to mucho ap courses :)

So my fellow respectable artists, I hope you all have a great and enjoyable competition. See you guys around and thanks ;)

I am retiring as a boxartist and I won't be coming back soon enough....
Ever since I've started my senior year, feuds have been kickstarted to oblivion; I haven't been finishing my work because of my addiction to VGBoxart, and now my sister is acting up since most of my time used on the computer was to experiment with flash, and now I have been kicked off because I was hastly using the last minutes of my time to type in the text in the back of my boxart. I haven't made a boxart in over 2 months now, and my creativity has gone down a drain. I will post my boxart tomorrow, and i definetly know I'm going to lose to such a talented boxartist like thecodemaster. I'm also stepping down as the host of the competition, and I will pass the blueprints of Winterfest to someone who is willing to take my place on saturday.

I know some of you are pissed, and i'm pissed as well, but the way things are going on in my life, I cannot hold it much longer as i'm spreading myself too thin... I will start the remaining rounds tomorrow when I have the time... I'm very sorry for the inconvenience to all of you, and I won't be coming back for some time. There is nothing you can say, to make change my ways...

ok, perfect timing, I just finished my box and now I find out that theres gonna be a new host. anyway on the bright side, all image hosting sites are being gay and not allowing me to host my image at full size. the box size is at 3.6MB with a background and 3.35 without one, the maximum size for a site that I've seen is 3MB, can anyone give me a hand in finding one that'll accept my beastly (in size) box?

The losers of the losers' round, however, step out of the competition.
