For those of you that don't know, Pixel8ed is my sprite comic strip. This is going to be a deviantart competition, once my ban in over, but I thought I would post it here as well since several of you watch my comic. If you would like to join, send me a pm or email.

I'll do it. But I'm a little confused. Do I pick the character, the opponent, the stage, and then make the comic?

You pick your character, and you will be this character throughout the competition. When I post the first round, I will tell you who you are competing against. Then you will make a sprite comic showing your character battling your opponent. In your comic, you can have them battle anywhere you want. It doesn't necessarily have to be a "stage"....I just meant a location for the battle.

Right now all you are doing is picking a character, and doing the "audition" info for that character, as stated in the rules. More information will come with the first round.

Just send me a pm with your character, answering the questions I listed in the rules, and yes, please include an example of the sprites you will use for your character. Also, please include more than one choice, in case you end up not getting that character after the auditions are over.

Of course. Just follow the above method of joining. Pick you character, and send me a pm with your character choice. Answer the questions I listed in the "Character Selection" section, and send me a link to the sprites that you will be using for your character. And please include more than one character choice, in case you are not allowed to use that character because someone else chose it.

Any gaming character, as long as you can find sprites for it. The whole idea of the competition is that you make sprite comics of the battles that your character is in. Again, you can be any character in gaming, as long as you can find sprites for it.

Because Deviantart doesn't like people to make sprite stuff. They think it's copyright infringement, even if I have the permission of some of the companies and US law... I'll be back Monday.

That's kind of stupid. That'd be like banning someone for doing a Master Chief fan art.
