I always thought it would be cool to have a big poster made, in Photoshop of course, of all the veteran boxartists here.

Each one of us could send in a picture of ourselves, and we could maybe give someone the responsibility to make a poster for the site. Here's an example...

Reed could make a introductory screen for it, or just make the home page bigger so it could be placed there. I don't know... something. As to what it'll be used for, to make the true artists noticed among the hundreds listed. It would sort of be an achievement for other boxartists to reach, to try and make themselves known, too. It might also attract unknown artists out there...

An if your talking about Veterans....I'm an Veterans, I been here longer than Radio Bob.

I made one with the Real Veterans.... :cool:

Also, what you said about including real picture one the real person is cool, but some of us won't do it. So I suggest that we use sprite! So the Veterans on the cover, pick any old sprite you like (Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, etc.) and I made similer one to that character or what you want and then put them on the poster with your name!

Example: say Mad Spikes pm me "I want mario, but with Orange Overall and Hatless as the 16-bit sprite."
Then I will get the orginal 16-bit mario, edited him, send it to you and improve to your liking.

With my sprite Idea, I make the Poster....if it's ok with you HelghastMist.

hey i have an idea. what if we made sprites based on our name. for example i would have a sprite squirrel. and if our name couldnt be made like that we could send in pictures that could be turned into sprites. but thats just an idea from my sick and twisted mind :p

I think the poster idea is great! Noobie can check the best authors and then take a look on their boxes.

When we start to point out veterans, we begin to devalue others opinions. A poster with names is not a good idea. Keep it to the point without names.

When I made the example poster, I was referring to the names as being a substitute for pictures. A poster with the actual boxartists photos would give the site more personality.

P.S.: Someone should send Reed an email... I guess I could do it. :/

Sorry, I'm not real keen on putting something like that on the site, but feel free to do it in the forum. You could start a thread with the image posted, and update it over time. And then have a list of links to their profiles.

But may do something like a Hall of Fame or Featured Artist (once the profile page is revamped). Which would essentially accomplish the same thing...

begging wont get you put up there trivium alls you have to do is make about 20 more really really good boxes that should get straight 5's
