Background Mirror?

Hi anybody,

How do you make the Backgrounds of your Boxes look so, so... 3D and how can you get this "Mirror" of the Boxes on the floor?
Do you make it in Gimp2 or do you have the better version of Imandix?

The reflection is done by flipping the box vertically, and then setting the transparency of the layer depending on your background. at some times, it may also be appropriate to add a semi-transparent gradient over the new layer, or fade it into the background, in order to better simulate the effect. I for one don't use reflections any more because I found it to add little to the overall appearance of the box, but the majority of people on the site do.
