i think the 360 mainly because developers are already getting better at developing for the 360, so more and more quality games will be comeing out for the 360 while people struggle to learn the PS3's hardware. Sure, the PS3 will do good, mainly because the price is so high. If 500 people get it the first day, that's about 3,000 bucks right there.

but wasnt that how the 360 was when ti came out .. ps3 will come out too and have problems but it will fix those problems on the way. i mean rember the comparisons between xbox and xbox 360 games they looked exactly alike...;)

i would like to say the 360 is gunna win because it will be better, due to huge online following and the fact that its made its online realy well, but i think the PS3 will sell more, not because of what its capable of just because its a 'Playstation' people see thats theres a new playstation out and just buy because of that reason, because its a playstation, they dont pay attention to the hardware. The 360 will sell less but it has a much better and devoted following, Especialy with its online aspects. i will not be buying the PS3 im gunna stick to my 360, Saints Row in particular for now :D

I have played the PS3 @ E3. Warhawk. Resistance Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword & Motostorm were all awsome in demo form. We just won't know untill we see how well the games have evolved over the next year. Halo 3 is just about a no miss and Killzone 2 could be a close second or a total flop. If I had to bet my life on it. PS3 just by their track record. They have controlled about 80% of the market for 10 years now.

i love my 360. its a dream machine, minus being so god damned loud!
i also love what the PS3 promises to offer. the exclusive titles would make me buy the system.
however, it's over half a grand, and thats not happening. The problems with the hardware will also be aplenty i'm sure, and it might take a while to get them all resolved. Plus theres the fact that sony is trying to push a new form of software, which might not be accepted for a while.
So the bottom line is, the Xbox will most likely lead the next generation of gaming because they have got most things right so far, and they have much more to come.

PLAYSTATION 3 ships in two different packages, a $499.99 model, and a $599.99 model. Just to clear up the confusion.

Xbox 360 is going to win. Sony is losing exclusives like crazy. Pretty soon, we'll have Guitar Hero on 360 (hopfully). But, you know with Sony, they'll get some hit, (GTA: III on PS2), witch will probably be Metal Gear Solid 4, or Resistance: Fall Of Man, witch looks to be a huge system seller BTW. But, 360 has to many great titles, Halo 3, Gears Of War, GTA: IV, Saint's Row (for some, not me), PREY, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Forza Motorsport 2, Fable 2, Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Call Of Duty 2, Call Of Duty 3, Perfect Dark Zero (hell, I liked it), Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and most of those titles are exclusive, most, not all.

Sony also are promising so much for the console outside of just the games (i cant think of any on the spot) but they are promising the machine to do alot of stuff and i say whats that point, i buy a GAME console to play GAMES and a PLAYstation to PLAY games ! if i wanted to do other stuff i would buy other things, they are trying to turn gaming consoles into Computers.

Wii should be on poll, its launch known, the most important info about a console is known how it will play, with the released specs of the Wii-mote that is known, gameplay over graphics is what Wii is about, so its unknown specs won’t stop if from being on polls. Microsoft have forgotten about Japan, only 6% of gamers want 360 according to random polls there, 1.5 million units failed to sell. About 1m in Japan at launch supposedly, which is worse than Xbox 1 sold, whatever you believe about polls, 360 is flop in Japan unless they get much interested, PS3 and Wii already have a major win in that country over 360.

As long as Wii has originality that made DS the biggest recent seller in Jap;
PS3 has Final Fantasy and similar games the Japanese loves, 360 have already lost over there. Jap isn’t interested in its games and unless MS gets more developers like Capcom they do not have a grab of potential success in the east of world.
Wii will sell greatly there, it’s cheap and the success of the DS will enforce people purchasing of it and theres a more appealing launch, twilight princess and Metroid Prime 3 will more likely crush the PS3’s line up judging from the rep of these licenses and its developers experience, Japan love quirkiness looking at DS, the low price looks like at the launch of PS3/ Wii, PS3 will be ambushed by Wii’s.

So the rest of the world, I imagine Wii will do only ok in England due to cheap price of about predicted £180 for a new gen console and its strong launch will triumph, however people will be put of by the name, sounds like urine, and the culture has Nintendo pinned as kiddy so the name will not do good.
Now some PS3 flaming, it’s rip-off, $600 in USA, blu ray is forced un-needed onto customers, stealing gamers moneys, Bluray is indeed expensive and will only give much sharper pictures and more un-necceary space, it’s the main reason its so dear. I think PS3 will win it because of the predicted ‘10 year lifespan’ Sony has planned, in comparison to the max power of PC the hardware will date quickly.

If they can last at least 6yrs despite their hardware expiring, Wii’s hardware will feel old and expired about 2 yrs less, Wii is not about the graphics but innovation, but the hardware expiring will only make its lifespan about 4 years, theres only so far the Wii-mote will take it, I think PS3 will have a longer life and in that time PS brand recognition and its most long run of third party support like MGS4, DMC3 eventual GTA will result in its overall victory despite 360 having similar visuals so far and its amount of exclusives. Winners Japan: Wii, US: PS3, UK: PS3

PS3 1st Wii second and sorry 360 loser. I won’t be ripped of by PS3;
When in comes to winning the best games, XBOX 360 looks like its has the classiest line up by a tenth of a mile to the Wii.

When you just look at the Sony only titles, there isn't much going for it... Halo 3 and Gears of War could easily replace all of the Sony exclusives.

I highly doubt Killzone 2 will be coming out in just a couple months after the PS3 release; quite prankly, the game hasn't officially been announced yet. I see it coming out in 2008 or later.

I honestly can't see the Xbox 360 losing to the PS3. By the time the holidays come around, you'd be mindless not to get a 360... Why?
1. Cheaper Price ($350)
2. More Games (Gears of War, F.E.A.R., Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and etc.)
