PunisherAB box is good but the lower back is super blurry.

Not a really good reason, explain more, why is bob's back of his box better than Punisher's?

Well, ill vote for box number 2, cuz it has better style and it is made better. Looks impressive and really cool. I'd buy this game only because of ththis boxart ))

As for number one - MGS-related boxes would never look like this, don't like it.

I'm a huge fan of Metroid, so I hate to do this, but:

I vote for number 1

The logo render looks bad on number 2, as do all the other renders. The template is horrible and there is no Retro Studios logo.

Number 1 is a bit blurry, but it's still a better box.

What are you talking about? Those are called drop shadows.

I vote for #2 b/c it is nicely set up and as Feed said, #1 doesnt go with MGS style boxes and the back isnt that good either.

Well,

Box 1: The idea was different, even if not in lieu with a typical MGS box, it could've been great. But I guess the execution wasn't perfect. The blurry legal info in the template stands out too much especially when the other parts are so crisp. I think there should've been more screens - 3 at least and font choice could've been better.

Box 2: The placement of the Metroid logo doesn't feel right. I guess the blusih thing beneath "corruption" is to blame - I know its part of the official logo. Maybe if you could've given it the impression that there was a planet at the bottom of the boxart and it could've acted as part of its surface. Still I think the back cover is well made and good font, color scheme throughout.

My vote goes to box no. 2.

No.1 doesn't have a very realistic back because of how big the text is. I think it's pretty creative even I don't like the effects. I'd say that no.2 has a much better arrangement but I don't like the backgrounds of the box.

I vote for no.2.
