these are some impressive boxes!
great job all of you.
but,here goes:
box nr.1: bit of plain front and hard-to-read text on the back.
box nr.2: small amount of text and template lacks at some points, also, no screens.
box nr.3:screenshots too big, too little text.

overall, i think box nr.2 and 1 are great, but the flaws are a little too big to win
so my vote goes to nr.3.

Ok.

Box 1: Good effects, nice use of colors and quite neat & tidy. Not too fond of the effect on the text, but thats only a small gripe. Great work.

Box 2: Should've had some screenshots, never the less, the character potraits aren't bad. Main distractor is the front which somehow doesn't work and the effects on the main title don't look good - should've left it plain. Good effort, on the whole.

Box 3: I think it looks too much like other killzone 1 boxes we've seen (particularly Feed's) - the front cover design is a bit uninspired. The level of detail is good on the back cover though, Screens and all are neatly placed. Not too fond of the orange color font though. Good box, overall.

My vote goes to number 1 (Haze box).

I vote for number 3. All the boxes seem pretty impressive on the front, but the back for number 3 is definitely most impressive and well organized. The backs for the other two are decent, but compared to the third one, they need work. Overall, my vote is in number 3.

I vote for Killzone 2 box. Because it has nice color scheme, it is nicely blended. Gives a feeling of a game.

Don't really like Haze box, because its kinda....well its plain.

MGS4 box just doesn't look MGS'ish. Feels...worng.

The effects are very nice on number 2, and the the template is the best of the three. It looks cleaner and more official.

I vote for number 2.

I'll go with the Killzone box. Haze box depends way too much on outer glow, which doesn't work for me. Especially on the back. The MGS box is just weird. The color choices look really in the front. The smaller texts in front also don't look too well. Killzone backcover too could've needed some other effect on text over the outer glow.

Ill vote number 2, it looks cleanest; the template looks more official, it really does scream what metal gear is about; the color scheme is really nice too.

I prefer the organization of No. 1. On the second one I don't like the effects on the MGS4 logo, and the back could've done with a bigger synopsis. On the third one I'd like it more if the screenshots were smaller. Well done to all of you.

ok twilight, shall I? First let me start off by saying great job to all of you and I don't usually vote or like to vote since people may form grudges, but you guys need a tie breaker and since this is a competion I'll be harder on these boxes. Please no hard feelings, it's just my honest opinion to make the great boxes even better. Here it goes:

Box 1: I like the yellow consistent color sheme and am a sucker for hex designs. The back is nice too, however the slashed text in the back while creative hinders readability more than it should. The logo in the front is well placed, but the character in the front seems kinda weird with the glow and very lonely because of the bg.

Box 2: The template on the front is excellent but not the cutting in the back. Some logo problems also abound (I could barely read the tactical espionage action part) The front is well designed though and only outdone by the wonderful back. I especially like the screenshot layout and I can only comment that the text isn't very appealing but still readable.

Box 3: The front is almost flawless, well designed in terms of logo placement, characters and colors. The back however is not as good. The back text isn't very appealing and while the title font is decent the paragraph font isn't. The screenshots and background are well placed and designed however.

Ok after much consideration and since they were all great in my opinion, overall I vote for #3 gets the slight advantage with relatively fewer designing errors and a better design in terms of organization and composition. keep it up
