After a week deciding on what game to do I decided to do Alan Wake. Inspired by the '90 Alone in the Dark series (The cover of the second game especially). Now I need to do the Pixel Art and make the back.
Toughs so far?

Now THIS is really a testament to the original vintage Atari boxes. The angle of Alan is somewhat odd though, and I'm not entirely sure about the effects on the woman. Other than that, I would suggest messing with the lighting, as Alan is much brighter than he should be. Please continue this though, it's looking great.

Thanks.
The Alan pose is going to stay tough. It was the only pose that I could find that resembled the character. I tough of using the guy on Alone in the Dark 3 cover (http://pics.mobygames.com/images/covers/large/1147358957-00.jpg), but he have a hat. A big cowboy hat. :p
I will look into his brightness. And I will change the effects on her, too. I tried to make it darker but wasn't being able to, so I left it like this.

Absolutely nailed the retro style. I have to say for the backs screenshots though, they seemed warped. You should make the shape of the screenshot first, then fill it in with the actual screen (if that makes sense.)

I actually did this. I made the screenshots normally, then I picked a photo of an old TV, and traced around the screen. Then I warped the screenshot to fit it, and added some scanlines.
Anyway, I think I finished it.
