This contest is for getting our older box arts some reconition. Each contest will select one of thier older boxarts to sumbit in each round. The rules of each round will be basically the same. There will be two divisions. Ol' Skool and New School. Each division will have a seperate set of rules for each round. For example the rules may be for Ol' skool somthin like

The entries will be pmed to me by the deadline which will be posted at the begining of each round. I'm hoping to get at least 16 people. 8 in each categoy but I'll glady take more. To sign up jsut post here and you'll be added. Look for the first contest rules in the near future after we have enough contestants.

NEW RULE-You can only use a box 1 time. No exceptions.
NEW RULE- You can not have friends create accounts to vote for you and you can not create alternate accounts just to vote for your entry


Edit-Contestest will be in 2 categories. The ol' skool artistist (those who have been here awhile) and NeW sChOoL ArTiStIsTs.

yes i can. between matches there will be a period of 2-3 days depending on the amount of people since you dont actually have to make the box you dont need alot of time. i just need some people to sign up for it now. should I make an offcial sign up thread?

it'd be really nice if you'd take a look at the quality of the boxes people made, instead of looking at the date they've joined the site.
if someone joins the site at 5-01-07 and improves loads[!] in the following months, and has great boxes, and you make him compete with someone who joined earlier, but who hasn't experienced the same improvement, it's really actually unfair..
so maybe it's a good idea to make the divisions by quality of the boxartist.
and you just check out some of the boxes and then divide the artist in sections like:
Master-4+ for boxes
Mediocre-3.5+ for boxes
Beginner Class-2,5+ for boxes

the grades behind the class are your ratings, and you divide the boxartists in the sections ;)

Your not the only one who feels that way...but only 30% of my boxes in 2006 are good/great...20% are decent...the rest is crap.:p Now my boxes in 2007 are a different story. ;)

I haven't been on nearly as long as Slinger, HK, Punisher, E_G, and most of these other guys. If I was put in the old school category, Deathspawn, Mojo, Bob, and the rest of those guys would slaughter me :o

I think my little question got ignored though i do think it's important.
