Who's your favourite artist on the site?

Unsure whether this has been done before, not going to bother digging up an old thread from many years back if that's the case.

Title speaks for itself - who's your favourite artist on the site thus far?

Even though he hasn't posted a box in like a year and even with the fact that he's pretty much inactive, I guess my favourite artist on the site would happen to be Indexenos - not because he's an MGS aficionado like me but because of the levels of perfection, polish and realism he brushes onto his work. There are many artists that could easily top the list like Elcrazy, hawtes, dms, 89er and eatnade but imo, Indexenos has the "edge" that makes his work stand out from the many other boxarts on the site.

Who's your favourite artist on the site, and why?

I have several.

YoshiStar makes some of the most beautiful custom art I've ever seen on this site, particularly his Zelda Skyward Sword and Capcom vs Nintendo boxes. Plus he's a nice guy and I've yet to see him act like a douche to anyone.

sd1833 has some of the best designs, simply gorgeous, for example his Mass Effect 2, Enslaved, and Metroid Other M boxes. Recently he's also shown he's a boss when it comes to custom art -- see Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime.

jevangod and his iconic "thick-box" style boxes have also won me over. He is excellent at doing backs and overall his work is usually top notch. My personal favorites are Killzone 3, Infamous 2, and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles.

Last but not least, the amazing aelixus. He made horizontal boxes cool. He is one of the most talented artists on this site. Don't believe me? Check out his boxes for LIMBO, Red Faction Guerilla, Battlefield 3, Medal of Honor, StarCraft II, and Dynasty Warriors 6.

They are my favorite artists because they bring something new and interesting in terms of design and put a lot of effort forth in their boxes and it really shows with their work.

Drakxxx. I don't remember, but someone recommend I see his boxarts and I was just blown away by how awesome they were. And some were hand-drawn. It gave me hope that some of my drawn boxarts would do well. :)

I can't believe mentioned no one envor yet, he was really amazing and I would say he's my favourite artist on the site (or in my top three anyway).

There are so many great artists on the site past and present, that it feels almost unfair to pick a few.
