Alright, so for an English project, my friend and I are making Time Magazine issue that isn't in our reality, but in an alternate reality where the Hindenburg didn't explode. Why is the Hindenburg not exploding actually matter? Because the Hindenburg was German aircraft at its finest, and it was leading the airship era, but sadly ended it when it exploded.

Now imagine if the Hindenburg didn't explode, and let's say that in this reality, Murphy's Law is observed, imagine! So we did, we went off and did all sorts of crazy stuff that would steam from the Hindenburg not exploding. Here's the timeline:

1937 - Germans catch the Hindenburg's hydrogen problem before it actually becomes a problem. The L7-129 Hindenburg goes off without a hitch.

1937-1940 - Germans get massive funding for creating better and bigger airships, planned to be used in future world domination plans. (In secret mind you)

1940 - WWII. The Axis Powers (Germany and Japan, excluding Italy) dominate WWII due to Germany's Nazi Air Ships, and Germany also helps Japan to engineer some of their own.

1940's - After basically winning WWII, Germany begins dominating and conquering other main countries. Germany absorbs the Americas, Europe, and Russia and becomes known as the Third Reich, while the Japanese take over all of Asia (aside from the Middle East who we haven't decided where it would go, and Russia) as well as Australia and the Pacific Islands.

1950's through Present Day- The German-Japanese War - Similar to the situation between the three wold powers in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, the two world powers (The Third Reich and Asia) are equally powered and want allof the power, and they go into the longest war known in the history of mankind.

This cover is supposed to take place in present day, and will feature a timeline. Because it has to be in English, we made the magazine part of the Third Reich, and it will feature why the Third Reich is awesome and the Asian Empire sucks.

I've only got the cover down, but I'll get more as I go along.

Some pages I will have:

1. Timeline featuring what the Third Reich is all about.
2. Advertisement/Propaganda showing hate towards Asians.
3. A map showing the territory division.

I need some help from you guys. I actually have never owned a Time Magazine, so it would be great if you guys could show me the style of how the pages are arranged through scans and possibly some pics found on the internet that I haven't found.

Thanks guys!

It was hydrogen, not helium.

And here's the table of contents: http://www.geoffabrown.com/images/Geoff-Brown-Time-Magazine-Photo-2.jpg

Make the time logo a lot bigger.

Im not entirely sure how the use of air ships would have given Germany such a huge advantage to be honest. There was literally no way on earth Hitler was ever going to beat Stalin's Red Army, so i'm not sure the use of huge flammable balloons would have given them such an edge. I personally would have gone with the Nazi's weapon advantage and have them develop the Atom Bomb before the American's (or something similar)

As for the magazine, the red around the outside is a little too thick and the logo needs to be a bit bigger. The main thing that is getting me though is the Swastika image you have used, its more of a western interpretation of the Swastika (It's red, gritty and blood soaked) it conveys how we as the allies view the Nazi Party, evil. If this is set in an alternate reality then the Swastika would be held in huge regard, similar to a crucifix. It would be black with red & white background like the original and look 'pure' like any other flag.

Intriguing. I agree with HellKnight, but if you don't have time to re-do it I'd just leave it. Maybe it should be that the Nazis didn't need to focus as much on aircraft and they were able to develop the Atom Bomb before us. I also think you should add something about a large-scale revolution. The thought of 75 years of evil dictatorship and no revolution seems kind of unheard of....
