How it works

This will be a 18-man competition. This competition will be as fair as it can be.


This tournament is just about video game box art.
I will pick a category with rules, ( What console, 3D, just the front etcetera).
I'll give you six days to make it, before the deadline PM me or e-mail it to theelectricgeneral@hotmail.com... then I'll create a thread for each round, the VG Box Art members will pick who wins by voting. The first person with six votes wins that round.

The people who'll be in matches will be planned, based on how many boxes I receive. This is to avoid people winning by default. It will also be based on their skill.

Voting

Rounds will have rules on how you make the box art. For example, in round 1, the box may be for platform games, and it has to have pictures that you edited.

When voting, say what you think is the better box art in this forum where that round is listed. Your votes must not be retaliations and must be about the box. You must also have a sensible reason. If you are a participant, please vote for your fellow box artists, so the game is kept going at a good pace but that is not a rule but a recommendation.

If you want to sign up, please do so before either the places are taken up but I will not allow you to enter if you've not been here a week.

May I respectfully request a longer time period for box-making? I myself, as no doubt do others, have summer jobs which will prevent us from finishing boxes in the time period we normally finish them. As such, I request an extension of the alloted time period for each round, in order to accomodate this.

Sorry for double posting. I am giving you six days, that is almost a week. I know the first round will not be a challenge for you KoopaDasher, so six days is just about right. When the rounds are challenging, I will give extra time for people to finish.
