I really like the idea. I myself have been interested in doing a design for a game starring the BOO ghost. I think there could be a little more excitment on the cover, something more than just the character floating there. I say to keep experimenting and see where it takes you. :)

Cool idea, and from the looks of it the design is too. Could you upload a larger version of the image? It'd be easier to critique and give advice.
