10 - Ratchet and Clank - great classic for kids and adults.

09 - Pokemon Emerald (300+ hours :cool:) - great RPG that'll last you well over 100 hours.

08 - Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - one of the few brilliant sonic games.

07 - Gears of War - duh.

06 - Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves - great game, might seem childish but it offers a lot of fun. the multiplayer's pretty good too.

05 - Ratchet and Clank 3 - amazing.

04 - Just Cause - astonishing game, underrated by many.

03 - Jak X - A+ racing game, blows the hell out of Burnout.

02 - Shadow the Hedgehog - :eek: yes it's true, the GC version wasn't that bad.

01 - Kingdom Hearts II - My new all-time favourite game, nearly perfect, except the difficulty is a bit dodgy, but that doesn't make it any worse.

Ditto, every time I watch the ending of Shenmue II, it makes me want to cry. :o The story should actually go on... There's Shenmue Online but it just looks like a generic MMORPG, with Shenmue scenery. It looks ridiculous though because every character seems to have super powers which conflicts with the martial arts themes of the original games. I wouldn't all be surprised if it got cancelled.

One of the only things the fans can do is just squeal out for Shenmue III before a press conference hoping it will be the next megaton. Sega, if there can be a sequel to NiGHTS into Dreams, why not have a sequel to Shenmue II?

Not in any real order, because I can't decide which is the best:

Super Smash Bros Melee - Simply put, one of the best fighting games ever made.
Pokemon Red - It started the empire. What's not to love about it? It was amazing and still is today.
Pokemon Diamond - expands on all of the best parts of the original without losing a thing. It's simply perfect.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time - If this game does not make your list, you have no soul
Zelda: Twilight Princess - Same goes for this game
Mario Kart DS - Better than Mario Kart 64, better than Double Dash, and a great online system. Best one yet.
Super Mario 64 - Simply the best Mario game to date. And I mean the 64 version, not the DS version.
Zelda: Link to the Past - In my opinion, the best Zelda game ever made, even if it isn't in 3D
Banjo Tooie - The first game I ever played on a 64. Incredibly well balanced, intuitive controls. It never gets old.
SSX 3 - My absolute, all-time favorite sports game, if you can call it that. EA has yet to make a sequel that can top it. This game is amazing in every sense of the word.

hmm, :D yeah, there might be like... one or two I'm not thinking of that I havn't played in forever, but pokemon crystal version was my favorite pokemon, although the diamond version IS pretty nifty.... and I put my three favorite zeldas up there, because there are so many and those are my favorite ones. I put put twilight princess far beyond ocarina of time because although it was the best game ever for its time, if they released it in its current state in today's market without people knowing it existed, very few would like it. and... uhh, sonic the hedgehog 2 was the first videogame I ever played, I prefered battlefront 1 over 2 for its nostalgia, and I had more fun playing it. It also had a lot better maps, with more vehicles that were better to drive!.... oh yeah.... and the first metroid prime was my favorite! :D

nope.... i'm an even bigger Ratchet fan than Jak. Completed each game 10+ times, got 10,000,000+ bolts, all weapon upgrades maximum level, Nanotech max level.

the only the reason Crash racing died was because Sierra/Universal/Traveller's Tales/Radical Entertainment took over. If Naughty Dog were to make a Jak X-2 (which I hope they do) it would be awesome.

actually, apparently there is a way, but it's almost impossible. you know when you race the unbeatable Oxide ghosts in Time Trial? Well, I heard, if you beat every single one you can unlock him. same here. I'm a passionate Spyro fan but I never played the second for some odd reason. I remember getting Enter the Dragonfly for my birthday, my mom accidently got the Gamecube version before I actually had a Gamecube, so she went to the store and got the PS2 version instead. I probably should've told her to give it back to the store and forget about it... i sold it like, the following week.

agreed. It would have been up on mine, not entirely sure why it isn't, but yeah. Jak X is my favourite of the series (although not technically the best) but mainly because i've spent at least 50 hours doing everything and it's one of the few games i'm still playing strongly today after I bought it back in 2005. (not to say I never play Jak II, but doing a couple of Jak X races has almost become part of my daily schedule)

To be honest, the only reason I bought Jak X was because I wanted to know what was going down, story-wise. I was never particularly interested in the gameplay, but boy am I glad I bought it because it was tight.

That being said, I prefer the platforming action of the first three to the racing action of X.

And I think that while Jak 3 was the most polished of the series, II is still my favorite because it introduced all the new gameplay mechanics.

yeah, I see what you mean, 3 was amazing but there were some things about it I wasn't so keen on, such as the neverending war in the fancy new part of the city (even after you beat the game, it was still raging on) but the desert cars, new weapon upgrades, light jak... it was all awesome. I see Jak 3 to Jak II and Jak 1 as I see GTA IV to GTA SA and GTA III, respectively.

Looking back, part of the reason I like II so much was the challenge. It took me so bloody long to beat the Baron the first time around, and I didn't beat Kor until like a year and half after I got the game.

Hey, remember the part where you have to get that item thing from the house at the very back of the slums (the bit with all the water and bridges) and you get attacked by an entire PLATOON of Krimzon Guards, you can't swim in the water cos of the security drones, and there's no vehicles... ON HERO MODE... you don't wanna hear the rest, it aint pretty...

so it's not a crappy port? Thank god, the PC versions of DMC3 and Resident Evil 4 were so bad... to think I bought RE4 on PC for my friend last christmas...

For the record, I use a PS3 controller or a 360 controller with my PC games (Depending on the mood/game) I use a 360 controller with DMC4, so yes, it's good. :P
