State of the site?

Back. Or so it seems. I'm a veteran of this site. Anyway, how is everyone? I've noticed a lot of our longtime members leaving, and a lot of n00bs coming around. Too many WWE boxes, too much crap. Electric General? Mr. Buell?

Anyone?

If there's enough of those vets here, maybe ill make a comeback....again.

I'm just finishing off my latest work. Mr. Buell aka PunisherAB is gone but he's going to return later this year or else I'll drag him here myself. :p Well things are all right, Icarus_Flight, Lord_arcanus and Feed are keeping the site alive even if there's a tons of boxes from other artists that I don't like, but there always is so there's not much point complaining.

What EG said is true, but you should come back and if you see the boxes you don't like just ignore them..

i hate to admit it but i've been a bit of a jerk lately, mainly due to complicated life issues, and i got banned twice, and after recieving a warning message from Reed yesterday i've been trying my test to return back to my nice old self. Reed posted a new topic about rules and stuff, so we should just ignore any boxes that we don't like such as WWE or Halo 3.

I'm glad a veteran of the site sees how bad it is. I just signed up yesterday thinking I'd find some GREAT box art. A couple friends at Take Two led me to the site. (They were looking for legit box art, long story). So I check it out and I see pages and pages of Sonic, WWF RAW, Halo.

Lucky after some digging, I found some funny and some original art work. I don't understand how this site is made to create free ideas and all I usually find is some kid's variation of a regular box art, where MAYBE he moved the logo or something?

A big problem your site has is the "elitist" attittude some of the members have. You need to welcome new members or a site dies. Your site needed variety, so I post "adaptations" of older console box art that is to the company's specs. What happens? Several people who apparently know NOTHING about gaming trip that stuff is in odd spots.

Basically, the state of this site is bad! It could have produced better box art than worth 1000. Unfortunetly, due to a majority of memebers being unable to find an original thought (NFS, Halo, WWE) and others unwilling to learn videogame history, this site could be doomed. Is should be a welcoming place for all interested in this form of "ART".

ah well, i kinda agree with him..
many new people[ including me ] have arrived, but you just have to be patient.. i have signed up last week, and , unlike you say AC, i have seen alot of talent.ofcourse there will always be 1 or[lots] more people trying to mess up the site, but if you just don't pay attention to them, it will be fine, for hawaiian dragon, welcome back, and i am looking forward to see lots and lots of great boxarts coming from your hands.
