I don't listen to Alternative rock that why. I listen to Heavy Metal Like Slayer and Stuff like that .

Still.. I listen to Slayer, Machine Head, Cannibal Corpse ect. but i still know who Nirvana are =S they are one of the most well known bands of all time. Please tell me you know who Kurt Cobain is... please........
