New Feature: Stats!

I've added a new page which lists some site stats. Namely Highest and Lowest rated boxes, with Most Popular coming up shortly.

Well those stats do not reflect the best boxes no offense HK, that’s not my favorite you did but still a perfect one. Its popularity stats but its interesting info on the site and a nice extra.

Does ‘most popular’ mean most viewed?

My RE5 one shouldn’t be popular.

this stats thing is going to make eveyone crazy by having some people make new files to boost there ratings. they're also already lowering scores to take the boxes they hate off the list. like my invader zim was up there until it was taken down, then my medal of honor box was up there and it was lowered off the list the next day. this list is creating things that shoulnt be created already. maybe the stats list isnt such a good idea. :(

partialy in agreement, people need to keep in mind that it is the highest rated, not the best. some boxes were made before the rating system came into place for instance and some people take advantage of the rating system. just keep that in mind

The highest/lowest rated are definitely going to be in favor of more recently posted boxes. At least for now, since the voting system hasn't been in very long. That should change as it matures though. Older great boxes will slowly accumulate their 5s and climb up.

As far as people trying to knock them off the list, completely expect to see that. But that'll make it really easy to weed out the jerks then, won't it?

But being in the top 20 also means more attention and thus more votes. So it may very well change position, either up or down.

Yeah.

And arguably many of them shouldn't be the most popular, but sometimes one gets posted on a forum or site, or gets a good position in Google, and that makes a big difference.
