I haven't made a box in FOREVER so I decided to start on this. I am drawing every single render on photoshop myself so it's not gonna be a fast boxart
(Link took all day lol). Here is what I have so far. Any critiques?

And yeah, it Link looks great, but the logo doesn't..

It's nice! The drop shadow on his head and hood are too much though. I think you should make them as mild as the rest of the drop shadows.

Looking great so far, but as others have mentioned, the way he's holding his sword is kind of awkward.

K i fixed the sword, and got a better logo.


It's nice! The drop shadow on his head and hood are too much though. I think you should make them as mild as the rest of the drop shadows.

Well I added Zelda and a Goron. I need to add two more characters to the right of the box. I think I'll do Ganon as one, but I'm not sure about the other. Maybe a Zora? I changed the template to a DS box. I think it fits the style better. Any suggestions for the other character?

This is shaping up to be really awesome. I can't think of a darn thing that would make it better at the moment. :) Keep it up! I can't wait to see this finished.

Haha well you might have to wait a while. I broke my mouse hand yesterday and I get it casted tomorrow. I fail using a mouse left handed so I may have to wait a bit to finish.

Is it just me or did this tingle render turn out awesome? Once I finish the happy mask salesman I may put him behind link, and tingle behind the salesman. We will see when the salesman is finished.

Nice screenshot.

One thing, before you post I think you should add a little more detail to the grass the characters are standing on. Maybe use the same texture you have on everything else.

Its been a pleasure watching this box come together. I think continuing with the minimal screenshots (the simplistic style I mean) is the best way to handle this.

Well if want to retain the polish and effort of the front, I'd go the extra mile and make a new image for the back. Maybe even add a render or two as well.
