Alright, So I haven't played sonic much, but it looked like a fun box to make, I actully tried to edit the characters and do renders for the box, but it totally messed the characters up. So I decided to keep going instead of stopping the box. This need alot of work and I need you guys to help critique it. Here it is

It actually doesn't look like something made in ms paint, for a first box i think it's Okay, Just some flaws.
The template is kind of messed up around the curve, some of the renders are choppy and blurred and the background is kind of plain.
Overall, It's better than my first anyway and i'm sure you'll get better.
Enchanter, Why no constructive criticism? I'm sure if people said your boxes looked like they were made in MS Paint you wouldn't feel happy.
Just be nice to the new people ;)

No offence man, but take a scroll through the Hall of Fame. Look at the boxes, try to get ideas. You can see that most of the boxes use the real template. And all of the logos are cut out well and they have a good background, not just a solid color. You just need to put alittle more time and effort into your boxes, fix all those little things that you think people wont care about, because we do care, and it makes a difference. Also go to Planetrenders.com for all your renders...they are the best. I believe you should scratch all you have now and start again. Remember, alot of time and alot of effort. Good luck :)

Who cares if you like the red one better, it looks crappy compared to the official. Thus use the official, do you want a color change to the official, i'll do that for you, but please use the official. As for the box its self, its not that good. The background really isn't good, try getting a wallpaper off the internet and take the background off that, add renders from Planet Renders and bada bing you have got your self the beginning of a box. And by the way it doesn't look like you know how to use photoshop.

Sonic appeared twice on the box

And dont just use a plain Gradient background
because it make them floating

Some ideas:

Add 2 backgrounds left side criminal-like (maybe jail) right side more heroic (idk)
If you're going to make the other characters float lower their opacity and maybe fade thier leg so it's kinda like in memory or not in the scene but being thought of.

Unofficial. I was thinking along the lines that you can choose you path, Criminal or Heroic, such as inFamous. Thanks for the the details. I'm gonna do that.

I dont really think the smudge tool looks good on this box, and I think your overusing it in general. I really think the box needs a background, try looking at artwork for sonic games and see what you find. There isnt much "design" behind this right now.
