Mariolee's boxart used in a Dutch Game Mania store!

'Nuff said! I was walking across the Game Mania today when I saw this box on the shelfs! I took one really quick picture of it, but I think it's pretty clear that Mariolee's boxart (http://www.vgboxart.com/view/29897/new.super.mario.bros.wii/?replies=14) was used as a pre-order box.

This happened to me with my Scribblenauts box art, as well as countless others, and it always seems to be for the same reason (http://images.google.nl/images?hl=nl&um=1&sa=1&q=new+super+mario+bros+wii+box+art&btnG=Afbeeldingen+zoeken&aq=f&oq=&start=0).

Besides, Mariolee's box had a GameStop header on top of it, so you can't say they couldn't have been fooled :P.

Anyway...congratulations, Mariolee? That's the proper thing to say in this situation, yes? :P

Actuelly, this isnt the first time a box from this site has been used as a Pre-Order cover at a game store. I remember back in November 2007 going into EB Games to check out some game when my mum went for clothes. i was looking at Pre-order covers when i saw this...

I have a feeling that thats not Mariolee's. I think Mariolee found that image and put it on his box. I mean compare the two.

Could be true yes. Mariolee's has a lower ESRB and it isn't even PEGI. Though it can also be possible that the guys from Game Mania just cut it a bit out?

EDIT: I don'tt hink it's his after seeing that Toad is jumping out of the template :P

HOLY. F***ING. S***. That's MY box there. You have no idea how amazed I am. What's funny is I found this site due to a similar mix up when (I think it was) Toys R Us got a VGboxart of Mario Kart Wii.

I am...flattered? No, I made that image by compiling renders form NSMB and NSMBWii. What really tells me that this is my box is the Chain Chomp behind the logo, I remember distinctly putting it there. I'm really flattered though that you think I stole it. :P

It's mine, I think they just covered my nintendo logo and esrb rating with a red logo and pegi rating.

True, but look at the Goomba on the down left corner. You can clearly see that the ESRB covers the part on your box while it's visible on the Game Mania box.

IDK, it may the pic's blurriness, but it seems like the bottom part of the goomba on that pic has been edited into a browner color than the usual bottom body of a goomba. I think they edited it a bit.
